About Loza ቅርጫ
Preserving our traditions through modern community sharing in Northern Virginia & the Washington DC area.
The Heritage of ቅርጫ
Kircha (ቅርጫ) is a deeply rooted Ethiopian tradition of collective livestock purchasing and meat sharing. For generations, families, neighbors, and close friends have come together around holidays (Meskel, Easter, Christmas, New Year) and milestone events to share the cost, the blessing, and the bounty of a shared animal.
Our Mission
To keep this rich cultural custom alive in the diaspora by eliminating the logistical burden while maintaining 100% fair, transparent, and respectful shares.
Quality & Trust
We partner with trusted local farms for premium livestock, handled by professional butchers adhering to the highest cleanliness and Halal standards.
How It Works for You
Instead of having to organize 4 to 8 families yourself, find and transport livestock, and handle manual slaughtering, Loza ቅርጫ coordinates everything. You simply reserve your share online or by phone, and receive your portion neatly packaged for your family's table.
